Exploring Fashion Through Painting

I want to use my blogging platform as a means to share my thoughts, ideas and research. My love for creativity causes me to research the why's, the how's and the who's of art. And I want to pay forward that which has been given to me, knowledge.

My next blog post will start a short series based on my art history research paper at Meredith College under Dr. Beth Mulvaney; who has been a real inspiration for studing art and writing about it. The series is based on my love for all things fiber and art history. I hope you will explore with me the details of Medici fashion at the hands of Bronzino in "Canvasing of the Medici Women".
