Bio

Dora Fromer, a multi-media artist, was born in Fayetteville, NC but grew up along the Georgia/S.Carolina boarder and now lives in Sanford, NC. 

 

Her work centers around her love of sewing but branches into nature and other unique subjects. These are often, but not always in the mediums; of fiber, photography,or graphic design.

Before graduating with a BA in Studio Art, Graphic Design and Photography; Dora was a sewist for over 20 years.She recently has had her work in two juried student exhibitions, photography featured in an art and literary publication, and won a photo contest for study abroad. Most recently her work was in a group exhibition titled Transfiguration.
